Computer basics

I have been using Windows 7 for just about a year now and am finding quite a few and easier to use programs in it. I am presently working on other blogs and am setting up a personal blog. I have not been Using IE8 as i have had lots of issues. On this machine at home I am using Google Chrome and at the office I am using Firefox. My preference is opera, but it is proving not to work as well as these others.

I am currently running AD at work as well as using Sccm for remotes and other uses. I can audit a site to see if it is up to date. There are so many things with computers today that it is virtually impossible to keep up. I was running office 2007 and just recently upgraded to Office 2010 and have hardly used it since the change. I cannot wait to dig in.

This has been a very long summer and I am ready for Winter. This will give me the chance to sit in front of the machine and learn more about Windows 7 and all the capabilities. Just to give you an idea of how much better windows 7 is, just open a window and you will see a search box in the upper right hand corner. You can find files anywhere on your computer with this new search method. I am calling it quits for the day so everyone have a great weekend!
